The celebration at the Shrine dedicated to Mary, Queen of Palestine, in Deir Rafat, where Christians from various parts of the Holy Land celebrated the patron of the Latin Diocese of Jerusalem.
October, in the Holy Land, is the month of special devotion to the Virgin Mary.
In Deir Rafat, 30 km from Jerusalem, the faithful filled the area outside the sanctuary, for the feast of ‘Mary, Queen of Palestine’. The holy mass was presided by the Apostolic Administrator of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, Mons. Pierbattista Pizzaballa.
