There is no longer any safe place in Aleppo

“Enough of this war, enough of this hatred. We try to build a world of peace.” It is the plea of the Franciscans who live in Syria.

There is no longer any safe place in Aleppo.

On Saturday May 21 at 6 pm, two missiles hit the College of the Holy Land in Aleppo Syria. The building, which is located within the monastery of St. Anthony of Padua, was considered to this day one of the safest places in the city. The outcome, in addition to the destruction of the structure, was the death of an old woman and two other women who were injured.
